• Dear High School Staff and Families,

Once again we find a winter storm causing us to make possible changes in our school day. This communication is for the parents of high school students only and serves only as information as no decision has been made as of now for any change to the school schedule.

If the weather conditions require the district to call for a delayed opening tomorrow, Monday March 2nd, then PARCC testing for high school students will be cancelled and students will follow a normal delayed opening schedule. If this were to occur, there would be no early dismissal. Students would then be dismissed at the normal dismissal time of 2:20.

Please note, there has been no decision about a delayed opening for Monday, but we felt it important that this information is shared with you early in the event that a delay is necessary.

The weather is being monitored carefully and if no other communication is made, then the high school will continue with Monday’s planned PARCC testing and early dismissal.

Hopefully, the weather will not have an impact on our school schedule.

    Take care and stay safe.
Nicole Pormilli, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
