Peer Leadership Home
 
SPMS Peer Leadership is a group of students from 7th and 8th grade. They are involved with substance awareness campaigns such as anti-smoking and anti-alcohol projects within the school as well as community service projects. They listen to the concerns of peers and help to find solutions.
 
Some of our past activities include:
  • Save the Dogs! drive
  • Anti-bullying campaign in school
  • Anti-smoking and anti-alcohol campaigns
  • Caps for Kids fundraiser
  • Care packages and letters to soldiers
  • Family adoptions during holidays
  • Canned food drive
  • SPMS courtyard cleanup & beautification
 
All middle school students are welcome to join Peer Leadership. An application must be submitted.

Pick a session: 7:30 am or 2:30 pm.

  • SPMS Campus Cleanup (Saturday, 4/20)
    Come beautify the courtyard and grounds. If you have them, bring gloves and gardening tools.

    Come to the PAL and show your support for South Plainfield resident and special education teacher Ms. DeNitzio.

  • Holiday Gift Drive
    Continue to bring in your contributions to the holiday gift drive. Items especially needed are gifts for older kids and teens. Please drop off items by Friday, December 14, 2012.

  • October 1-12, 2012
    Our Save the Dogs! drive starts Monday, October 1. Mention it to your classmates, friends, family and neighbors. We will collect items during homeroom.
