Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am pleased to be writing to you as the newest member of the South Plainfield High School Faculty. I would like to thank Roger Vroom for his recommendation as his substitute for the remainder of the year and all his help in this transition period while he fulfills his duties as an administrator.

Being a graduate of SPHS and having had Mr. Vroom as a teacher, I know the level of commitment and success that this program is accustom to and the duties it fulfills in our community. I truly enjoy teaching at the high school level. At this age our students are stretching their boundaries and preparing for college and beyond, which can be challenging but ultimately very rewarding. As teachers, it is our job to aid them on whatever path they, as young adults, may choose. I have found that with a sense of humor, light touch, and logical boundaries, we can send our students off into the world stronger and more prepared then when they entered, not only musically, but as members of our community.
