Welcome to Roosevelt Elementary School. On behalf of the staff and myself I would like to welcome everyone and say how thrilled we are to begin the new school year. Our teachers and support staff have worked hard over the summer months to prepare our school for what we feel will be a great year of learning and socialization. Our goal is to create and maintain the best learning environment we can for our students. We believe we have an advantage, in that we possess, along with our children, five important elements necessary to reaching our goal.
Our building is beautiful, safe, clean, and comfortable thanks to our staff.
The Roosevelt School teaching staff is talented and highly qualified. Our teachers are all caring professionals who are dedicated to the success of our students.
· The strong support staff is multi-faceted, from the Board of Education and Central Administration to the individual support staff members within our building; the students are guaranteed the resources, services, and support they need to be successful.
· Our parents and PTO members have been very successful in making Roosevelt School a place to learn, make friends, and have fun. We are truly partners in the education of our children. We invite all parents to join our PTO and stay connected to your child’s academic and social success.
· At Roosevelt School we promote and encourage Character Education . Our teachers and staff lead by example; they demonstrate respect, consideration, and kindness to everyone on a daily basis. We also celebrate success and project a positive can-do attitude. Our students are taught the benefits of integrity and being a person of good is character. At Roosevelt School, Character Education is real.
These are just some of the advantages and positive values we hold here at Roosevelt School. I believe that our responsibility is great and our rewards immeasurable. I invite you to be part of our success by joining us as we reach our goals. Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to share.
Once again, welcome to Roosevelt Elementary School.
Mr. Robert Diehl
