Tiger Hunt!

South Plainfield Tiger Talk

In an effort to bring our community together, Mrs. Stephanie Rizk, a Kindergarten teacher at Roosevelt School, had a great idea to do a “tiger hunt.” During this time of social distancing, the “tiger hunt” is meant to bring our community together and allow for those who may feel isolated to know that we are all in this together.  I am asking that all students draw, color, or print a picture of a tiger and place it in their front window. While you are enjoying a walk in your community, you can go on a “tiger hunt”, looking for pictures of tigers posted on your neighbor’s windows. Send your building principals pictures and/or a count of tigers you find! Please join our community in making everyone feel welcome during this time of isolation.

This is a great time for our older students to show off their artistic skills by drawing a tiger from scratch. Included in this email are free tiger printables for our younger students to color in. Please have your tigers ready for the hunt by Saturday morning.
