Dear Parents/Guardians, Students and Staff,
We hope you are enjoying your summer!
South Plainfield Middle School will be holding open houses on Friday, August 23rd and Monday, August 26th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Parents/Guardians and students are welcome to tour the building to become familiar with the school. Both 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend.
There will not be any presentation during the open house. To find out more about the middle school, please click on the link below for a short orientation.
Our Guidance Counselors will be available on the following dates, if you need their assistance.

August 26th
Student schedules will be viewable via Genesis on Friday, August 23, 2024. Student schedules will not be mailed. Schedules are subject to change and all students will receive a final schedule on the first day of school in their homeroom. Locker information will be provided on the student’s schedule.
Students will be able to practice opening their lockers during the open house dates. Students can also prepare their lockers for use during school. Students will only be allowed to use magnets to hang things in the lockers, nothing that sticks to the surface.
Here is the link for the summer reading assignment. Middle school students are to complete a REQUIRED summer reading assignment for September.
